1 week post lap, its been clarified that both my tubes are blocked.

I’m now a week post op, feeling quite lathargic, the incision site and stitches on my belly button is/are still sore and very bruised. Been to see my GP today, he’s signed me off work for a further 2 weeks as i’d had to self cert this week due to not being discharged with a sicknote. He went through my discharge notes with me and clarified that both my tubes are infact blocked so IVF is our only option and is happy to refer us straight away so he is now sending a letter to my gynaecologist, so our journey how ever long it may be has finally started! Xx

I had an operation in June of this year where I was told the unfortunate news that both my tubes are blocked! We had our follow up appointment this morning and we have been referred for IVF! We fit the crietera for it and due to an ectopic pregnancy last year we will be starting our treatment at the latest May next year! So feeling positive! Once your in the system hopefully the wait shouldn’t be too long! We’ve been trying for 3 years so a few more months shouldn’t be too hard to wait!

i dont know if you remember but i was having my procedure the same day as you turns out we have the same problem!! i went back to work far to early but had no choice as dont get paid sick pay. I am still struggling with tiredness and period is over a week late. I am glad they have referred you. My discharge notice was so shoddy they haven't even written the finding feel like i was abandoned slightly by the hospital. hope your feeling better and all goes well with your IVF xx
