Hi, I've just had a telephone consultation with my clinic in Spain that I'll be using for ED. During the call I've been advised they recommend transferring 1 embryo ?? I have had 2 rounds of IVF both times had the intention of transferring 2 embryos?
What's your thoughts ladies I can ask for Spain to trans 2 - I have no other health issues that would cause complications....
hi, we debated long and hard about this when I was in the same position. In the end we went for 2 and the consultant said we'd made the right decision. I had one top grade and one lesser but still good. At the first scan only one had made it. Good luck with whatever you decide xx
They usually advise 1 with donor eggs because of the higher chances but we had two transferred this time because it didn’t work when we had 1 transferred the first time. Wishing you lots of luck xx

Hi there, we only had 1 blastocyst and 1 slightly behind it left from our cycle. The embryologist told me from day 1 that they insisted on only putting one back. This was not the case on transfer day as there was only two left. They decided to put two back and now I'm pregnant with twins 🙈.
What I would say is if your okay with the chance of having twins then go for it.
Go with your gut.

Hi CJ104. I just wanted to wish well with whatever decision you make as to how many embryos to transfer. I'm sure your embryologist will give you his/her best advise, but if you have no health issurs and have failed before, then perhaps go for the two?? Thinking of you. Diane
I was transferred 3 grade A blastocyst to increase our chances of a bfp first time round... testing in the next 6-7 days.

Hi, if you had two unsuccessful IVFs with only one DE embryo transfer, why should you make the same choice again? Putting two embryos will increase your chances to get pregnant. But you should discuss the possibility of having twins with your husband prior to transfer. I believe that this is the decision you both must make. Men usually have more common sense and are more realistic than women, who are full of hormones from the therapy. So their position will be more objective. If he's OK with it, then go ahead! Wish you all the luck in the world!
