Just wondering if people keep

Gonal F & Menopur out of the fridge once opened ?

Clinic have said it's fine either way but I've been carrying them on ice on my trips Cornwall-London every other day :-/

Thanks

**** Update from responses, see how different clinics are giving different advice ??? Some are in some are out, this is my 6th round and I still haven't been 💯 told for sure, Surely it should be pretty straight forward x

I haven't got as far as taking those yet, I'm a few weeks behind you. I was also told by my clinic that you can leave it out of the fridge for 28 days once opened. I'm not sure what I will do though. I'd be keen to hear what other ladies have done. Good luck xx

I forgot to ask my clinic where to store my Gonal-F but I've just followed the instructions on the front of the box and put it in the fridge. Hope it doesn't hurt too much when I do my first injection this morning otherwise I may change my mind! Xx

Gonal F is the least painful :-)

Take it out if the fridge 30 mins before use straight from the fridge can be stingy.

I stored my Gonal and menopur in the fridge the whole time and also carried ice pak if it needed to be carried somewhere, not sure what you mean by open? I only ever opened them for when I was using them or else these were in their original box.

I Mean once mixed, powder to liquid for Menopur, I think I'm going to keep them on ice but it won't last as I do 18 hours of travelling to get to each appointment 😩

Yes your supposed to still keep them cool even after mixing them.

(My understanding was and is to only mix them few minutes before injecting. 🤔)

My clinic told me to keep them in the fridge. Maybe put them in one of those thermal lunch boxes when you travel? Wouldn't be exactly like a fridge but would keep them chilled

Once opened they’re fine to be out of the fridge - this is what my clinic told me and what the box says x

I've kept mine in the fridge and haven't found the injections painful. If your clinic said it didn't matter they'll know best. x
