Morning ladies

It was my OTD today and tested postive although very faint. All my othrr tests were strong and did clear blue digitak straight after and positive .

I am wondering whether to request HCG testing in my 3 week wait for ultrasound of whether to just wait?

I felt like the clinic test was very flimsy and cheaply made. Had anyine else been in my position?

Sent clinic the photod attached and they are happy i am definately positive so just after some advice?

TIA 😊

That’s definitely a positive! Congrats! 🥳

I did get three HCG blood tests done just to see if it was rising accordingly, just for my peace of mind. I paid privately for them (at a private GP in SW London) for me it was worth it ☺️

Thanks for the reply. I think i may ask my gp for peace of mind.

Did your levels rise at all if you dont mind me asking ?

Its the clinics cheap test giving faint line thats thrown me off a little. Apparantly they are standard tests and dont detect under a certain level of hcg.

Yes, my levels rose ☺️ it was a good reminder that everything seemed to be progressing well at that stage before my viability scan at 6+4 (I went private as my clinic is abroad!).

the clinics test will be less sensitive but if someone will do an HCG for you then that’s more conclusive as I know what’ it’s like once the worry is in your head. You could also try another clear blue weeks test in a few days and see if it moves to 2-3weeks as well. That might give you some peace of mind that levels rising. They are a bit sketchy as predictors but have always shown my chemicals if they don’t progress or go backwards by the time they should. But defo need taken with a pinch of salt as their range is sooo wide! Congrats on your positive xx

Thank you and thanks so much for the advice. It is all a waiting game and such uncertainty whilst still trying to remain positive. I am trying to cut down on the googling cos that isnt helping neither. I just cant wait for the 7 week viability scan now. I will be so nervous yet excited at same time. Its an emotional rollacoaster! X

This wait you are in now found harder than the actual 2WW 🤗 do anything you need to to calm your nerves! I must have spent a fortune on tests 🤣 yeah google is not your friend right now xx

Lol i cant help myself! Yet torturing myself at same time lol. I did a clear blue digital at like 5am yesterday which was 13dp5dt and was still displaying 1-2 weeks though.
