Egg collection Wednesday...

Had our scan this morning and things look ready for collection on Wednesday :-)

It doesn't matter if it's your first or second cycle of icsi, things always feel surreal during the whole process?

Good luck for tomorrow. I'm also booked in for my egg collection operation tomorrow...feeling a little anxious as we had a failed fertilisation back in February. It's extremely rare for no eggs to fertilise and I only had three from six follicles. Going in tomorrow with four follicles, so fingers crossed that we get further along our fertility journey this time. I've been having weekly acupuncture which as really helped me to stay positive and calmer, plus I don't seem to have suffered so bad with the side effects compared to my first ICSI cycle! Best wishes xx

Oh good luck to you too for tomorrow :-)

Acupuncture definitely helps me too and hopefully it's been doing good things in our bodies...

Make sure you get plenty of rest to recover and let us know how you get on x

It's definitely a surreal process. I especially found that with ET. I couldn't get my head around he fact he embryo had gone back in! Best of luck x
