Just wanted to share that we've officially started our DE cycle! Had my decapeptyl injection to down ref this morning & spent the rest of the day with stomach & back cramps! Not too bad though, could be worse!
Excited, nervous & scared but can't wait to get to the next stage. Start my estrogen patches on day 1 of my next period which should be within the next 10 days apparently.

My clinic is in Spain where donors are 100% anonymous & therefore the clinic choose for me. There's no waiting list or anything unlike the UK.
I see you are waiting to have your first ivf cycle. When are you due to start? Are you NHS funded? Xxx
I'm starting in October and I'll be NHS funded for 2 rounds. Feeling excited but trying to remain realistic x

My best advice is to try (!) and relax & be patient! Try the Calm app, there are loads of free meditation sessions on there & a couple of sleep stories. I was so anxious in my last cycle that I couldn't sleep & the sleep stories were the only thing that would send me off. I've used them ever since! Xxx

Absolutely no idea unfortunately! My clinic do things a little differently & I've been told it's usually between day 12-45 of endometrial preparation. Basically, if the donor doesn't respond as well as they like then they'll pick another donor so there would be a delay. Let's hope that doesn't happen - I'm impatient at the best of times!! 😂 Can't start the endometrial prep until Aunt Flo arrives so just waiting for her now, fingers crossed I'm not waiting too long. Am excited (& impatient 😉) to get moving!!

I am just going into another round with frozen DE after we miscarried our first fresh little one earlier in the year and thdn had a failed FET.

We are using a clinic in Barcelona who are amazing but with hindsight I would probably consider somewhere slightly less expensive to stay than in a city!! I can't fault the clinic though.
I'm so sorry, it must be heartbreaking to have gotten so far and then miscarried. My heart goes out to you and I admire your strength.

Had a load of extra tests performed the other month on Erp mapping. Immunology etc.
I have the philosophy of it will be what it will be.
It's a hard journey for all of us.
