Hi all I'm 8 days post FET and I know I shouldn't have but I was so curious! I had a clear blue ovulation stick left over so decided to have a go this morning and it came back with a smiley face! Could anyone have any idea what this could mean? Xx

Can ovulation tests be used as pregnancy tests?
From the little I know, I believe an ovulation test can indicate a positive as it picks up the LH and hCG in your urine but cant distinguish the difference. Maybe now you've tested with that you might want to test with a pregnancy test for some clarification so your not left wondering 'what does it mean' or wait till OTD if it's not long to go? Xx
Whhhhh interested did u test 😊
I did I done 3 pregnancy tests as I couldn't believe my eyes and yes I got my BFP!!! 🌈
Awww congratulations
I would say no. Ovulation kits pick both LH and HCG, to pin point ovulation. While pregnancy test are only HCG based. When you test in in around CD10 it picks up LH mostly. So, when your ovulation stick turns positive and if you happen to use it for pregnancy detection, you won't get the correct result. It's best to rely on HCG only sticks - that's what HPTs are.
