I started my menopur injection last night i think all went fine but when i finished and pulled the needle out there was a bit of blood inside the needle .. is that okay? i do sometimes have bit of blood when the needle comes out but never in the actual bit :|

Hi Rubidge. Well done on giving yourself your first injection. You probably just hit a tiny capillary (baby vein). When you put the needle in, pull the plunger back if you can, and if there is any blood in the syringe, pull the needle out a bit. If it is a pre-loaded syringe, you may not be able to do that, so no need to worry, as you will more than likely gone through the vessel and ended up in the right place! Hope all goes well for you.
