I've not been in for a while, I guess it all got a bit much.
So we are due to do icis, our appointment is in September, to start in October, after my 40th. ( I want to be fabulous and 40 not bloated feeling like crap 40)
I suggested chart my cycle, guess it's an Ivf habit
Today was day 32, I'm a day 29 girl!
Nipples were like razor blades so.... We bought a test.
Now I'm terrified. I've had 2 miscarriages in 6 months. I'm ecstatic to fall pregnant, but gutted that we never got past 7 weeks. Never saw a heartbeat.
Trying to believe that this time it'll be different π
I've cut out gluten. No lactose as I'm intolerant. Taken royal jelly, dhea, coq10, Maca, vitamins, folic acid, good bacteria.
Now I can only pray.
Not the 2ww going for the 9 month one.
Any ideas on how to relax?
I'm starting progesterone today. Not sure about baby aspirin. It's a bank holiday so no-one to ask!
As always, I wish you all good luck in whichever part of your journey you are on.
I think I'd be scared to tell anyone too, love this place for sharing info I wouldnt say to anyone else! At least you dont feel quite so onl your own and you can tell us. Just take it a day at a time lovely!
Im just waiting to start my first DE cycle in September (had to give up on my eggs as they are rubbish!), not long to go though feels like an age.xx
Everything crossed for you π€βοΈπ€βοΈπ€βοΈ
I can't imagine your pain- I have suffered one loss and it's so heartbreaking π. You just wonder why it happened. And what you can do next time to give a better chance.
My consultant put me on Prednisone 5mgx2 as I have slightly raised NK cells also when I was bleeding he agreed I could have progesterone pessaries 200mg twice daily till I was 12 weeks ( I asked my GP who referred it to fertility consultant) I don't know if these are an option for you?
I have also ordered baby aspirin but I'm going to talk to my consultant again. My first pregnancy was a threatened miscarriage ( he is fine) and my last Pregnancy was a miscarriage. So I think I need additional advice before trying again. I think I might additional medication to support another Pregnancy. It is a positive that we can conceive naturally ( I had endo implants found and removed and voila straight away we fell) but like you I also need to give it my best chance I really understand where you're coming from.
I have heard others taking blood thinners to help prevent miscarriage.
Its so cruel when we do all do everything we can for the baby and it goes wrong- yet people do alsorts and babys are fine- my SIL smoked and of course her baby was fine. Its so unfair isn't it Hun?
When the clinic or your gp are open do speak to someone and see what they can offer you- after what you've been through you need the medics doing everything they can for you both.
Congratulations and I wish you well with your pregnancy xoxo
look at the box! Defo rainbow π baby β€β€β€π
Massive congratulations on your BFP, I know how scary it is we had a loss last year and my pregnancy started as a twin pregnancy but we sadly lost one about 8 weeks. But on the very big positive side I am almost 15 weeks and everything is going well, it was very hard to relax I also experienced 3 weeks of bleeding which was scary. The professionals kept saying to me is there is nothing you can do now, so try and stay relaxed and listen to your body, keep hydrated and get plenty of rest. Wishing you well and always about if you want to chat xxxxxx

Thanks lovely XX hows things with you
I'm doing better thank you. I've got in touch with our consultant secretary who was so kind- he's on holiday. In a nut shell I explained my concerns over my bleeding in both my pregnancies- one threatened miscarriage and one miscarriage and asked if there was anything else we could do to promote a better outcome. Our consultant is great and I know if he can do anything I know he will. It helps knowing he's still there. xoxo
