Had my EC this morning after a lot of waiting around I went in, was out to sleep and they managed to get 8 eggs. They will call me tomoz to let me know how they developed and for the transfer date,
For those who have had EC did you do anything to help aid implantation, food/drink/supplements wise?

It was pretty straight forward and didn't feel anything as I was out to sleep, just had to wait around for a very long time. My belly is feeling a bit sore now tho and I feel a bit sick but I think it will die down from tomoz, I start the tablets tonight so that should help. Xx
Glad it went well, did u stay in the hospital for long after? Hope you don't mind me asking, where does your partner wait while you having the collection x
Yea I was there from 7.30 am they told me to come then but didn't get seen till about 10.30 as the rest were other people before me. When it came to my turn they took us to a room where I got changed and waited to be called into theatre. I think I was in there for about 25 mins when I came round I was back in the waiting room and my partner had just come back in, he had been waiting in the waiting area while us was in the theatre, they game me a cuppa and biscuit and I spent about 20mins waking up and feeling a bit better before I left. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, you only feel the needle in your hand where the drop goes. I conked out as soon as they put me under , apparently I was talking in my sleep when they finished tho lol. But yea lol good, o just hope I don't have to do it again! X
Well done on the EC. You should drink loads of water at this stage and keep taking folic acid etc. After the transfer, you should be concentrating on eating healthy. No caffeine, no alcohol, loads fruit & veg. They say pineapple and Brazil nuts are good for implantation, but this may be an old wives tale. I know that pineapple particularly is high in good enzymes - needless to say I ate them both obsessively for 2 weeks!!
Hey I don't really know, you can't really predict what will happen as so many different factors in play. I did get a BFP and currently 7wks 3days. I think getting rest and relaxation is most important, though I didn't take any time off work except the day of my OTD which I think is important, regardless of the result. I do love chocolate brazils so I didn't have a problem with this!! Don't overdo it on the water, the normal recommendation is about 8 glasses per day (maybe a few pints). I'm useless at drinking enough water, so as long as you remember to drink a glass every so often it'll be fine xx
Glad it went okay, as Lilli79 said drink loads of water and healthy eating. I to ate lots of pineapple after ET, don't know if it works or not but I always think best to try everything. Lots of luck for tomorrow x
Thank you, I didn't realise there was so much of a wait.... I know the feeling, It's so much harder than i thought, this group has been an absolute god send for me. X
