What to do with unused meds Gonal F, cetrotide?

Hi

Please remove this post if it is not allowed. I just wanted to know if anyone knows if you are allowed to sell your unused meds and if so where? I have brand new Gonal F 1050ml and boxes of cetrotide and it seems a shame to dispose of?

Hi Bluewanderlust. Unfortunately it is illegal to sell prescription drugs to others. I realise how carefully you will have stored them, but this can't be guaranteed, so all you can do, is to keep them for possible future use, take them to the pharmacy where they will be destroyed, or offer them to your clinic to maybe use for training purposes. Sorry about this, it is such a waste. I mentioned on here recently, that a relative of mine who had thousands of pounds worth of drugs leftover when she died, and they were all destroyed! Even tried to get them to charities overseas! Diane
