Waiting for our next appointment...

Hiya!

I posted a few weeks back after our first consultation at our local fertility clinic. We've been back for the results of the blood tests and swabs I had done and my husband sample analysis too.

My AMH levels are fine and also my ultrasounds came back clear too which is good. There was no change in my husbands sample so the our next steps are to go and see a doctor in the Andrology department of the hospital to see if he can find any sperm. If so we can apply for funding to have them retrieved and frozen and then apply for funding for IVF with ICSI.

They said it can take around 4 weeks for us for get the date of our next appointment, and I am the most impatient person ever at the moment! Has anyone else had theirs or their partners sperm retrieved and frozen that can tell us more about the procedure and time scales? We've had a read online but there is so much to take in!

Thank you. I think now we're at the fertility clinic things seem to be moving faster and we're getting more of our questions answered we feel a lot better. It's just the waiting to see wether they can help my husband that seems the be taking the longest! Thanks for your reply ☺️ xx

My OH found had a great time giving samples (for testing & freezing) and left with a big grin.
