Egg collection yesterday..

Well after an abandonned first cycle due to my follies not growing we finally made it to egg collection yesterday. We had 7 eggs collected of which 6 were mature. Phone call today and we are already more than 50% down! 3 are showing signs of fertilization... its so hard this journey massive highs down to massive lows in the space of a day! I know i should be happy with 3 and trying to stay positive but im finding it all a bit difficult at the moment.

Ah Hun, yes you're right it is the hardest thing, but you will find a way through the tough times. You are stronger than you think. 3 is still good enough and it only takes me fighter. Good luck sweetie xxx

Hey hun

I'm not sure I have the right words. This journey is SO difficult. We had EC friday and I have ET tomorrow. Its my 1st round and I really couldn't have prepared myself for the emotional roller coaster of the whole proves. I found the day following EC the worst.

However you have three little embies and that's a massive achievement. Well done you! Come on little embies. Lots of luck to you and them 🍀🍀🍀 xx

Dont give up it only takes one!! I had 10 collected 8 mature but only one fertilized. Now 8 weeks pregnant with that little one so give the ones you have all the luck and prayers xxx

I needed to read this! I only had 4 eggs taken today. I'm terrified about tomorrow's call

Don't be, I know its hard but its in the laps of the gods now. I really thought my whole cycle was ruined but bless this little one was a fighter and at first I didn't hold out any hope but by day 2 it all became about just one. Every day I got the call to say it was still developing and then made it to blast on day five. I still don't know to this day what grade it was, I never asked. I had planned to have PGS due to my age (44) but thought you have fought so hard little one, you are coming back to me where you belong no matter what. I am so glad I did! We are currently going through our medication, hoping to have our EC on Friday next week but as I've learnt a lot can happen in a week. You should be really proud of your 3 embies! that's still enough, it only takes 1 remember. Try to stay positive, that's what I've been telling myself every day. Good luck x

Got my call this morn 2 out of the remaining 3 are classed as good the other one is average now booked in for transfer on saturday
