Hi. I had acupuncture during my 2nd cycle. Both my cycles failed unfortunately. I do however rate acupuncture as I felt it helped to relax me and was one time in the week where I focused on me and my body exclusively. It is a bit pricey though and the evidence is more anecdotal than summative for its benefits for ivf. My advice would be to give it a go but don't think your cycle will work because you're doing it. Do it for yourself rather than for the ivf if that makes sense. Good luck. xxx

Thank you. Apparently my husband and I are genetically incompatible (found out yesterday). Luckily there is more to a marriage than genetic compatibility. Good luck Hun. xxx

I had lots of sessions of acupuncture throughout my cycle and was guided by the acupuncturist as to when was the best time - I think you definitely need to find someone who specialises in fertility acupuncture - she was amazing and so supportive and the clinic were aware when I had sessions particularly during stimulation as they could see evidence it had helped - i got a BFP on my first cycle after 5 years ttc, mmc, ops etc etc and I won't put it all down to acupuncture but I do think it helped me relax at times when otherwise I would have been a ball of stress - now 20 weeks and can't quite believe this might happen still! It is pricey (£50 a session in London) but i figured that I needed something outside of all the appointments and medication as a support and it certainly worked for that! Wishing you all the very best xxx

Hey, I had Acupunture on my 1st cycle and fell pregnant. Also had it during my 3rd which was unsuccessful. I am however having it again, for me it helps with my anxiety and to relax. I feel like I'm able to take some control of my cycle by having it but I would definitely say find someone who specialises in fertility acupuncture. Good luck on whatever you decide xx

Yeah exactly and if you don't feel it's for you at least you can say you tried it and then won't have the constant wondering of what if. Thank you, you to xx

I'm unsure to have acupuncture or reflexology??????? I definitely want to try something. I'm not sure when to do it though, I'm going to ask my clinic what they advise when I go for my baseline scan xx

I had acupuntute during my cycle of ivf which was successful. Whether it helped with the outcome I have no idea but it definitely helped to relax me and I enjoyed it. It also made me feel like I was taking a little bit of control in a situation I couldn't control (if that makes sense)! Good luck x

Sorry to go against the flow but found acupuncture too strong for me. Left me an emotional wreck at the end of each session. Talked about my feelings before treatment, left on bed alone with needles in feet for about half an hour. It didn't hurt but felt emotions welling up. Ended up crying my heart out in my car on the drive home. Only cycle I got bfn. I was so totally convinced it would work with this treatment and desperately sad when I got bfn. Try it and see how you get on. I've tried other things counselling, healing, homeopathy etc as I like to be open to these things. Good luck x

A friend of mine did it before and during her cycling. May be total coincidence however she got pregnant on the first cycle in Gdansk
