Cramps after hycosy

I had a hycosy 10 days ago. For the past week I have been experiencing cramping and I'm worried I have an infection or something. My cervical mucus is ok (not a different colour). I was wondering if other people have experienced this after a hycosy?

I never had one, my endo was too bad to even give me one. But my advice would be, go to GP. I think cramps are probably normal after, but it's always worth checking with the GP.

Where are the cramps? At the sides? or central or both? xxx

Cramps are at the sides and central. I also have a tilted womb xx

I too have a retroverted uterus, but this doesn't impact fertility in itself so don't worry about that. The fact that you have pain centrally and at sides, it probably is related to the procedure but it is worth checking with GP, particularly if you dont usually have this type of pain. Good luck xx

Hi hidden, I am having the same thing and have booked a doctors appointment. Did you end up having an infection?

Hi Anipea. Some cramping can occur, but usually clears up in a few days. I think it would be best to have a word with your GP in case it is related to something else. Hope it soon settles down. Diane
