Fourth Cycle, hoping this is our time!

Went straight into a fresh cycle after a failed FET in October, previous MMC in August from a fresh transfer in cycle 3 in July. Had egg collection on Weds, we got 19 eggs, 14 fertilised and we lost one overnight last night. I can’t focus on anything else. This is our fourth cycle, I’m praying it is our time, feel a bit emotional today, I’m 40 in March, desperately trying to stay positive that our miracle is in this batch x

Those are great numbers from your egg collection! Hopefully you get lots of embryos. We are just about to go for our 3rd FET so I know how you are feeling. It’s all consuming. Trying to keep busy and not think about it too much but it’s always in the back of my mind. Wishing so much luck. Fingers crossed there’s Christmas miracles all round xxx

Wow, great numbers there!! Xx

I just wanted to reach out and say hi as we’ve just started our 4th FET of 2021 with transfer day scheduled for 15th Dec.

Thank you, we’re waiting for today’s call to see how many we still have and if we freeze all or transfer on Monday. Wishing you lots of luck with your FET! It’s such a rollercoaster isn’t it?! Xxx

I’m so up and down with it all. Sometimes I feel positive and at other times very negative and convinced it won’t work yet again (which I know is not the right mindset to be in but it’s so hard to be optimistic after numerous failures). Let us know your numbers later on, fingers crossed xxxxx

I know exactly how you feel, it’s just so hard to stay positive all the time, I think we go through every possible emotion on this journey! Xx

19 eggs! That’s amazing! All the best of luck to you, you have fantastic numbers there and I can vouch for 39 year old eggs as I’m currently pregnant with one of mine, and I turn 41 in two weeks so don’t worry about your age. 😘

It’s great to hear this! I’m 41 in May and have been v worried about my age. We’ve just had our first (failed) round and are having our review appointment on Thursday. Thank you for the hope xx

Provided you’re keeping yourself healthy, I don’t see a reason it should be too much of an issue. I did ivf at 39 but couldn’t have a fresh transfer due to polyps. Whilst I was waiting on the list, I fell naturally pregnant and sadly miscarried at 3 months. So finally got the polyps removed and had my first medicated transfer in June. It didn’t work so I tried the next one naturally modified and that’s when I fell pregnant at 40. Just so you know the bloods and scan came back very low risk even for pre-eclampsia so I’m hoping I raise the positive stats for all those women over 40 🙌 good luck ladies!

Ahhh those are fantastic numbers - all fingers crossed for you for the next few days!!! We also had a MMC in August and my next attempt at a FET was cancelled 🙈 We are attempting FET #4 (or 5 if you count the cancelled one) in December and trying to stay positive too! It's a crazy rollercoaster but we've just got to do our best and not be too hard on ourselves I guess. Sending lots of luck and best wishes 💖 xx

Thank you, hanging on to the fact we had one implant although it wasn’t our time and praying we get our miracle out of this batch 🤞🤞 Wishing you every success with your FET, sending you lots of baby dust!!! Xxx

What an amazing haul of eggs! How have they been getting on in the lab?

Wishing you all the luck in the world for your fourth cycle! 🧡🧡🧡🧡

We’ve lost a few from the 14 embryos but still had 9 up to yesterday, we’ve got 5 B’s looking good and 4 C’s (We didn’t get any A’s this time but I’m not getting hung up on the grades as I’ve seen so much hope on this forum with different grades!) I’m hoping they’re still going strong tomorrow morning for a fresh 5 day double transfer🤞🤞🤞 xxx

Great news! That’s a lot of embryos and, yes, I wouldn’t worry about grading too much. Lots of women on here had success with even the lowest grades. So will this be a 5-day transfer?

in reply toRedsequin

Thank you, yes 5 day transfer, collection was Weds last week, praying they’re strong! Xx

Thank you 🙏 xx

Absolutely terrible results from Saturday to this morning, we lost all of our embryos except the one that they transferred and two slower ones which they’ll check tomorrow but don’t hold out much hope for. Could have cried, will try to stay positive during the 2ww but feeling really, really deflated! 😭😭 x

I’m so sorry….. I know how hard and heart breaking it is, but try and stay positive. On our second cycle they collected 16 eggs, 13 fertilised and only 2 survived to day 5 - but one of those gave us our little boy! You only need one…. Wishing you the best of luck 🍀 🤞 x

Thank you, here’s hoping 🤞 xx

Hi there, I’m so sorry the numbers dropped off like that. How did your transfer go? Try to focus on resting and drinking lots of water in 2ww, that could be the one. Did the other two slower ones make it to freeze. Xx
