4dp5dt positive test???

So I KNOW!! I shouldn't be testing this early but the wait got the better of me because I just feel so weird, hormones from the meds or not but I just would like to hear some positive stories! I took a cheapie test this aft which was positive so I went and did a clear blue ultra early & it is deffo positive within 30 secs kind of positive! Nervous and trying not to get excited but I'm a first timer so it's really hard, would love to hear others stories on their experience xxx

Thank you! Trying not to be excited but so hard not to be! Yeah it was a fresh cycle but I tested out my trigger shot so it deffo isn't that! Wishing you all the luck in your cycle🍀xx

That’s great you’ve tested out your trigger shot - that’s what I was going to ask! By how many dpt did you get a negative after positives? x

I’ve heard it’s best to only test every two days now so you see a more accurate change in the line. Congratulations 💕 x

I got a faint the day before transfer and would say for definite a negative on day 1 & 2 after transfer, I used early detection as well so I knew it was gone! It was a wee single 5AA so I'm really hoping the lines get darker 🤞🏻 with it being our first cycle i have had no idea what to expect & I am a born worrier so of course every other thought is in my head aswell🤣 thank you so much, here's hoping they get darker 🤞🏻xxx

Hi! I really hope it's a real positive result but usually this early it's a positive result because of the trigger injection because it's way to early to be getting a accurate result for pregnancy, you shouldn't test until day 9 or 10 after 5 day transfer, I hope it's successful for you xx

Hi! Aw I know I shouldn't have tested but I definitely tested out my trigger shot & was getting negatives for a few days before & after transfer! I'm not getting too excited just incase xxx

With my pregnancy now (I’m 20 weeks) I got a positive very similar from 4dp5dt!! They got darker each day from there. Maybe do another test in a couple days! Wishing you luck xx

To be more sure try a FRER one. I had false positives with clear blue. They are the worst for it. If it’s positive on FRER then it’s time to celebrate !

That is my plan!! I've got some coming this morning so holding my pee and will do it when they arrive & go off of those! The clear blue I did at 6am before my pessary was darker so I'm just staying hopeful🤞🏻xxx

best of luck!!! I had two separate transfers… both positive from day 4/5… first one was sadly chemical… but the second one is now a 12 week old little girl! Really hope it sticks xx

Thanks everyone for the lovely comments & stories!! I took a clearblue at 6am & then a frer when they arrived, im going to just keep an eye on the progession with the frer until outcome date which is Thursday, still just keeping a level head about it as the frer is darker than I thought for 5dp5dt🤔 Keeping my fingers crossed 🤞🏻🍀

That's really positive. I had a faint positive on some cheapy eBay tests on 3dp5dt of a frozen transfer and then did them every day. I now have a little card with about 50 tiny strip tests stuck down in my 2.5 yr old's momentos box. Good luck, I hope they continue to get darker x

Congratulations!! I'm currently 4dp5dt from a FET and i'm too scared to test. Too worried i'll get a negative result and it will stay negative.

I definitely tested too early & have put myself in the position of being excited but worried every single day incase they don't get darker so even though I didn't wait I would hang on just a little longer because I'm sure it shouldn't show up until about day 6🤔 Good luck & i hope you get your BFP!!! 🫶🏼xxxx

That would be my worry too. I would do a test and if it was positive I’d them worry in case it changed 🙈

I just thought I would update this thread to say it is my otd today I got my digital date in!! Every since day 5 my tests have been getting so much darker 😆 tests are officially being put down & I'm now awaiting a scan eeek!! Xxx

hi , I am 7 dp5dt , I was positive on 5dp5dt with digital Clearblue , then negative on 6dp5dt with Ferer ,,, probably it was the trigger shot ,,, I don’t know . Very disappointed now

Is this a fresh transfer after IVF in which you took a trigger shot? If so, it is possible to get a false positive. I don't know how reliable it is to "test out" the trigger. I would take this as a potentially encouraging sign but it could also be a false positive. I know it's hard but try not to test again until ODT.

EDIT: I see that this is a positive for you. Congrats!!! But for others, you really can get a false positive, even if you try to "test out" your trigger shot, so don't do it. 4dp5dt really is too early to get anything like a reliable BFP.
