Serious period pain!!!😲

I am on day 8 of down regs and my period started last night with a fair amount of pain. I suffer with endo, but fortunately since my laparoscopy it hasn't been too bad pain wise. It is back with a vengeance this time!!! I know you are not allowed ibuprofen on stimms, but can you take it while on down regs? Paracetamol isn't touching it and it's getting a bit unbearable now. Any advise very welcome 😔

Mine was pretty bad (have Endo too) but just gritted teeth and used a hot water bottle/baths to get through it. Acupuncture was also a big help. My clinic said paracetamol but maybe call your clinic and ask their advice? Good luck with your cycle! 🍀🍀

I have endo too and got real bad pains before that final period in DR. I also had a period longer than my usual 2-3 days and it was more like 7-8days.

It did go away after that final bleed so hopefully yours will too.

I just used my electric blanket, hot baths and water bottles to get through it.

Thanks, I think I'm gonna have to dig out my heat pad n just feel sorry for myself for a while!!!!😂 Cant wait for these down regs to be over with.

Hi, sorry to hear your in pain. I was advised by my clinic that I could take codeine (co-codemol) - I had really bad headaches whilst down regging & it definitely helped xx
