Accupunture - Unsure as to wether to start with it or wether Im too late in- Any Advice?
Hi. Yes I had accupuncture throughout my ivf. Whilst I think they recommend starting a few months ahead, personally i would say go for it if you are interested. It's not going to do any harm but make sure you find someone who is properly qualified and specialises in fertility accupuncture. The theory is that it improves blood flow and circulation around your uterus therefore helping with implantation. One of my friends just had it before and after transfer and had a successful outcome.
It is definitely not too late, I would start ASAP and try to find an acupuncturist who is Zita West trained (look on their website or google it).
The most important thing is to have acupuncture on the transfer day, before the ET.
Brill, Thank you so much..
Go for it, I had it for years before to treat tension headaches and she is a fertility expert and ex midwife. I had it thru our ivf in January, few hours post transfer too and I am now 11 weeks pregnant! Good luck xx
