Cyclogest

Hi all can I just check with you ho long it rakes cyclogest to absorb? I've read in other places it's just 20 mins but wanted to check whether any of you have been personally advised of that by your medical team? Xx

My clinic said it didn't take long at all, to insert and go about my day as normal, that it's not necessary to lie down afterwards because they're absorbed pretty much straight away. The leakage is just the waxy outer casing, your body will already have absorbed what it needs xx

Hi Fredaflinstone. The drug is usually absorbed within 20 minutes of inserting. Any "gunk" that leaks out is just the waxy stuff the drug is mixed with, so no worries. Good luck as always. Diane
