How soon until I can try again
I had the bleed straight after the fail (after stopping progesterone) then had to wait for 2 more bleeds after that, so yes 2 periods. Xx
I haven't been told I have to wait to try again naturally (we are unexplained infertility so there's still a chance we might get pregnant normally). I got told I could start having sex again after my withdrawal bleed at the end of the failed cycle finished.
Yes my clinic asks for two bleeds. X
So sorry to hear this billie, I think every clinic is different..mine used to be 3 periods (inc the one you get when the cycle has failed)but they recently changed it to just one period, but not including the one straight after your cycle because they just class that as a breakthrough bleed after all the meds. Give them a quick ring to ask and then you can make a plan xx
Hey billie88 . I think as the others have said the advice can vary slightly. Mine like the withdrawal bleed after a failed treatment then 2 periods later. However as Im NHS it usually takes a bit longer with waiting lists.xx
Sorry to hear this Billie88,
My clinic like a breakthrough bleed and then 2 periods before you can try again. All clinics have different rules though so you'd be best to give them a call to enquire.
Xxx
thank you everyone, I can handle that time scale and keep myself busy and concentrate on getting health and loosing the weight i gave put on while on meds. I will be more prepared and know what to expect this time round. I'm also NHS and had 2 free fresh ivf cycles and a free frozen, what does that mean, I have used 1 ivf try and had 6 frozen, can I use the frozen and if that doesn't work use the last fresh ivf try or do I only get 1 more try in that case would be better off using a fresh cycle and if that didn't work then I only have to pay for the frozen to ry rather than the whole cycle because I will not have that sort of money for a while. How long is the wait to start straight away again being on the NHS, so you have to go back on a waiting list x
