Hi Calisabella. Usually when your 2nd period starts, but you may have to wait longer due to the clinics being temporarily closed. Diane

I’m sorry to hear this huni. I think it depends on what tone of cycle it was for example fresh or frozen and then medicated or natural if frozen. The other thing right now is the fact that clinics are not able to do any new transfer cycles due to the Coronavirus situation and no idea when they will be back to normal xxx

Hello dear, thank you for your response. And yes it was a fresh embryo that was transferred.

I’m hoping that the pandemic is over soon so that I can get on another cycle; I spoke to my doctor and he said there’s no specific time to start.

Thank you again

Fingers crossed by the time your ready to go into your next cycle this pandemic is over. That gives you some time to concentrate on you and heal. My RE told me it’s a numbers game so your chances are hopefully increased next time. Good luck xxxx

Yes, it really is a number game. The last failed one, we had just 2 matured eggs out of 18 follicles. They were all empty, sadly

Hi I just had 5AA transfered on March 23rd...negative pregnancy... Got my period on the day of checking on April 5th 2020...i was asked to wait for one natural period to come to book for frozen embryo transfer(FET) as my previous one is fresh transfer. Before doing so I was asked to go back to my fertility specialist to discuss why it didn't workout and further treatment plan for FET. as it is another cycle you need to again go back to your fertility specialist to start a new IVF cycle that is new consultation fee and new transfer fee. So this month(ivf failed month) nd next month(when u get your natural period) which is your FET month... No worries thw wait is to remove all ivf medications from your body and your uterus and mind to heal.....

Thank you so much and I’m sorry to hear about the negative pregnancy test. Unfortunately I don’t have any frozen embryo, we had just two and we transferred both. My period came back this morning; my doctor is advising us to do a fresh cycle when I am ready financially.

So sorry to hear about this. Three menstrual cycles normally we were told after a fresh cycle however during this situation I have no idea when it would be restarted. Good luck.

Thank you much, do you mean doing a fresh ivf cycle after 3 menstrual cycles ?

I don't think so... If it is a miscarriage then it's 3months wait but for ivf fail its only one natural cycle.... Anyway not everybody is same but my fertility clinic said one natural cycle aa after failed ivf....

Sorry for your negative dear, Well I think it depends, I had failed ivf last December, and had my menses 3 days after, and doctor advice I should try another cycle immediately, which I agreed on and transferred my remaining 2 embrayo on January 14th(not fresh though) am 14 weeks gone now.
