Just when you are at your happiest

Late last night we discovered our gorgeous ginger cat dead in our downstairs neighbours garden. We think she fell off the conservatory and broke her neck or back. She was still warm when we found her and we buried her tonight in our garden. It's like the universe has to shit on you from a great height when you get to a place of complete happiness. And now I'm petrified because I'm only 5 weeks and stress isn't good and I'm just waiting on something going wrong :-(.

Aww love I am so sorry to read what's happened. That's tragic and also you must have had such a shock.

If it's any consolation it sounds like its been instant so I am sure she will not have suffered.

Please don't worry about your baby, it will be absolutely snug in there and you shouldn't have too long to wait now until you scan.

Terribly, terribly sorry to read this...it broke my heart!! We lost our ginger the same way 8 years ago...a broken spine due to a fall. I feel so for you. It is the loss of a precious and unique friend xx

Life just sucks sometimes...inexplicably and thoroughly Look after yourself and when you baby is older you can tell him or her about what a magnificent cat you once had.

I'm really sorry to hear of your loss. We lost our cat a couple of months ago which devastated us. Don't stress about being upset... it's impossible not to be. Just go through it one day at a time and know it will be ok. Be kind to yourself- you are only human and this is a big loss. Lots of love and hugs xxx

I am so so sorry. I have 3 cats, and reading your and Tugsgirls news, I am so sorry this has happened, especially right now. I cannot imagine how painful especially when going thru the ivf marathon.

So sorry! As an owner of 4 cats and one dog I can imagine how stressful it is to lose one of your fur friend! It's like to lose family member. You need to be strong and care about your baby xxx wish you all the best!
