Strange urine!

Hi does anyone on the Zita West vitamins have strong smelling urine? ( sorry😬) Ive noticed it over the last few days and wondered if it's my new vitamins????

It's normal! It's because our bodies won't absorb absolutely everything, so the route out is. Via the pee. I have to take very high doses of vitamin b12 and mines very bright almost illuminous. As long as you don't have any outward symptoms of UTi I wouldn't worry. They told me it's the bodies way of expelling what it doesn't need xxx

Hi yes I'm the exact same, have took them each time and always strong smelling. I take vitafem, vitafem boost and vital dha. I find the vital dha makes my Wee brilliant yellow too. Hoping they help I started them before our 6th fet attempt for a change of supplements and got first ever bfp but miscarried early. Iv started them this time 3mth before ivf fresh round so hoping they improve egg quality from the start this time as well as implantation. Good luck to you xx

Hi Gem11. Yes, it can happen. your body will only take out what it needs, although some vitamins and minerals are stored. However, getting rid of the "extras" can cause discolouration. Make sure you are passing normal amounts of urine, as it can be a sign of infection too, especially as it smells. Might be an idea to have a urine test to be on the safe side?? Do u think they could effect my period? I had a frozen cycle which failed and bled immediately after I stopped the pills. Since then I started these vitamins but I'm awaiting my period, I'm on day 37 now and nothing . I took a test too but it was negative. Could it be related??? Xx

Hi Gem11. I wouldn't think so. Cycles don't always run the same. It'll come, so try not to worry. Get your urine checked if it stays smelly and drink more water to dilute it. Diane
