what happens after initial blood tests and samples

Can anyone advise what to expect after inital blood tests scan and semen sampel at St Mary's.

Is the next step waiting for the consultant to advise on treatment?

Hello

I have had all of my tests just waiting for my partners seaman sample results to come back then were being referred to CARE to start the IVF process.

From what i have got from other people on here once you have been referred for treatment they will go through how to take the injections and give you all the information you need, i think from there you start and also they will go through your menstrual cycle and see what injections and treatment would be better for you, as there is a long and short protocol which from what i have gathered a short protocol is working with your natural cycle and long protocol is suppressing your natural cycle so they can take control.

I know its not much help for you, im pretty much in the exact same place at the moment

Hey Lauren, you could also look into getting your hubby to take proxceed Plus, it's a powder that he takes daily with juice, they suggest it be taken for 3 months for sperm improvement. Feel free to inbox for further questions. Remember all it takes is ONE

Defiantly hardest part is waiting and not knowing anything! I had so many questions and just wanted to know everything i could and got most of my answers from here, this is a really good group

Thanks Hidden it will be our first appointment so blood tests scan and urine sample for me and seamen test for oh. What happens next. Will we wait a few weeks for seeing a consultant x
