Hey everyone!
I feel like iv been waiting so long for this first appt!! there has been a huge backlog for IVF treatment at my hospital due to corona virus. Im due to go in and have my first appointment for some tests, blood samples etc.. as this will be my first round of treatment I'm unsure of how the process works, is it a long wait before you can get started from your initial appointment for tests? I just don't think I can wait any longer!

It really depends on the hospital. For me it was like:
March: referral to the Assisted Conception Unit
May: NHS funding accepted and Covid first vaccine
June: blood tests and Covid second vaccine
July: Ivf and transfer
So it was pretty quick! Best of luck to you!

We’ve just had our first appointment date through too! End of Nov for our consultation and scans. I’ve read that after that things can move pretty quickly. Good luck to you ✨ xx
Once your at the clinic the nurse /doctor will give you a time - line Just write down all your questions so you do not forget anythingGood luck with your treatment

Exciting times! A lot of clinics don't do all those tests until they are ready for you to go as they often only have a validity of 3-6 months.. so I would imagine once this is all done you should get going pretty quickly! Good luck!! x
