Ladies a few weeks ago I posted I got a bfp unexpectedly during my down regulation injections. On Sunday I had an early week 6 weeks scan where we saw a heart beat. This was an absolute incredible feeling but since then I have been nothing but an anxious wreck totally freaked that I am going to miscarry. The only pregnancy symptom I had was sore boobs and now they have gone and it's driving me insane. I just want to feel pregnant to know all is ok. I really this all sounds ridiculous just a few days after such a positive scan but I so want this baby and I really can't cope with the idea of anything ever happening to it!

Wow, so wonderful that you are pregnant! But so sorry you are feeling so anxious. Totally understandable, i thought the other day that if am lucky enough to get pregnant, I wouldn't totally relax till the baby was born.. Do ask to see Midwife early if you need a chat? Or would some relaxation sessions help with a complementary therapist? So hope you feel better soon. xx
Hey honey please do try and relax. So happy for you....you deserve to be happy and desrve to enjoy ur pregnancy.lots of love .xxx
Congratulations for the heartbeat, its an important milestone. I totally understand you feeling anxious, and I can't offer any great pearls of wisdom.. other than symptoms do come and go, and yours might simply not have kicked in yet. And some women don't get them at all. Some miscarry in the midst of strong symptoms. It's no indicator although it feels comforting because it makes us feel more pregnant.. you just can't win! So really the only thing you can do is try your best to distract yourself as much as humanly possible, and wait until your next scan. It does get easier, trust me. Thinking of you xoxo
Hi ch319. Oh dear, so sorry to hear you are so anxious. In my midwifery days, most of my expectant mums never felt any different for some weeks. The main symptom I found, was tiredness. However, you could always ask your GP to check your beta hCG blood test, to confirm all is well. Hopefully you will be meeting your midwife soon too. Thinking of you as you go through your pregnancy. Hi. Please don't get too hung up on the symptoms; I was having symptoms including worsening sickness but I'd already had a missed miscarriage by then I just didn't know it. So symptoms don't always mean that all is well.
On the other hand my best friend has a one year four month old boy and didn't experience a single symptom during her pregnancy, not one! And he was fine!
Congratulations x
Hi, I can totally understand. I was very very anxious in the first weeks - actually months of pregnancy. It's a very uncertain, nerve wracking time. I had a bit of a breakdown around week 6 when all my symptoms stopped completely and I was sure something was wrong. But I was wrong!! I would say try and distract yourself as much as you can and don't read anything into symptoms. They don't really mean anything. And if you're tired (that was my only symptom in the first weeks) take it easy and look after yourself. But it does get better, I found as of week20 I started relaxing - and now that I'm getting heavier I miss the days when the bump wasn't so big ;). Best of luck and I wish you a healthy pregnancy!!
