Headaches during stims, reassurance needed

Hello, I hope you are all keeping well (& staying sane).

I am in the process of preparing for my 2nd egg collection and have been suffering with really bad headaches since I started injecting. Has anyone else experienced similar?

Hello C_C_H!

If I remember rightly, I was taking Bemfola and got AWFUL headaches for the first few days. I phoned my clinic who told me it was normal. Plenty of water, rest and I was allowed to take paracetamol too. I was told not to take Ibuprofen.

I started my injections on a Friday and the Saturday and Sunday were spent in bed! The headaches were awful but they did get better 😁😁

Hi, it’s totally normal so please don’t worry. I was told to drink even more than normal as the medication really dehydrates you, so far that’s working on this cycle. Good luck!

i had the same experience. The headaches were hectic. It is difficult to take in and continue with the process but it does subside after a few days. I got told it was normal.

Sorry you are suffering, I just finished my 1st round and was sick for most of it--whether it was headaches/migraines, nausea, exhaustion etc. So not fun! I suffer from migraines due to hormonal fluctuations even before injecting myself with tons of hormones--no surprise I had headaches during most of my 10 days of stims. Luckily, I got the okay from my doctor to take migraine medication in addition to paracetamol. I required both!

I suffered quite badly with migraines on one of my cycles and felt quite sick too. I remember ginger ale helped a lot. xx
