Hi everyone, hope your having a lovely weekend. Just a couple of things, me and hubby have our initial/planning appointment on the 20th of April what questions shall I be sure to ask? Also I'll be on day 5 of my cycle I'm hoping to start on day 21 of this cycle but that's just me hoping, we've done all relevant tests so all ready but I haven't been told to call them and tell them that I've actually had af start! Will they still start us this month? xx

Hi! It's hard to know if they'll start you. Have you had your scan to check your ovaries? Also have they ordered your drugs? They can take a bit of time to come in. I read the His and Hers guide to IVF and it has questions for each section. You might find that helpful. Good luck. x

Hiya! They might let you start this time. I'm currently on day 10 of my cycle and I am still waiting for a call from the drugs company to arrange the delivery & I had a baseline scan on my planning appointment but having another one on Tuesday as the first one was on the second half of my cycle.

Fingers crossed for you xx

My experience last time was that they waited a bit longer... blood tests, scans, form filling, making sure they slot you in etc... you might get lucky though! Good luck! 🙂

When you say that you have had your tests done, do you mean your hormones tests like FSH, LH levels etc that are done between days 2-5 of your cycle ( they ask you to get these done by your GP practice) they need this to see what drugs doses to put you on I think.

If your going to be on day 5 the day of your appointment you might want to get this carried out before if you haven't already Xx
