Questions for Ivf appointment

Hello all! Hoping for some help tomorrow I have my consultation for my first IVF cycle. After 3 failed IUI.

Please help I’m writing down all my questions as I know il be overwhelmed and would like to walk out with it all clear... so what are the main things I should ask??

I just had my appointment with our dr after our nhs cycle failed. My acupuncturist advised me to ask what they would do differently next time if they were to be treating us on the nhs again. I also asked what we as a couple could do. As we now have to go private I asked their advice on add ons coz they would be impartial.

We got really great responses from the dr so I’m feeling very optimistic going forward. Good luck for with you’re appointment.

There’s an awful lot of info so make sure you take a pen with you for notes. There will still be questions when you leave so make sure you have their number or some other point of reference. My clinic covered everything I wanted to know and more. Good luck xx

Just found my list of questions! Most are specific to my health history but I did ask what would happen if I got pregnant but miscarried, did sex have to be protected, what counselling services are available (I went to one appointment and spent the entire time crying. Was very cathartic!), what happens if you miss your medications(I never did but wanted all of the answers in case!) and was there anything I could proactively be doing to increase my chances (diet, etc). Xx
