Clexane.....no bruises

I know this is going to sound really weird but last time I was on clexane I was covered in bruises on my tummy. I've been taking it for 3 days so far and not one single bruise....just aggressive looking red puncture marks. Is it still working? Xx

I was on clexane for ooooh, what felt like forever. I actually found that I had 'nice' needles and 'nasty' needles! I had one batch delivered and they were great, they had a sort of plastic nose that came down over the needle when the full dose had been injected. I didn't get a single bruise from them, just puncture marks sometimes, as you describe. Then I had another batch arrive and although they were made by the same company they didn't have the plastic nose. They hurt more (no idea why!) and bruised nearly every time! So I wouldn't worry about it, it's probably just down to the different manufacturers or types of needles.

Thank you. These ones have a plastic cover like you say so maybe these are ones that are bruise free. Result! Xx
