1st IVF cycle. Menopur headaches

Hi Everyone,

I have been reading the forum for advice for a while but felt it was time to actually post something! We have started our first IVF/ICSI cycle after trying for 3 years unsuccessfully and was told after tests we have unexplained infertility. I am currently on day 3 of the Menopur injections. Feeling fine apart from headaches. I have been guzzling water but they are still pretty bad. I think i can safely take paracetamol but I have been trying to hold off, not sure i can bare it much longer though...any advice on alternative remedies or if i should just pop a few pills and not feel bad about it?!

I would say take some paracetamol, they usually ease after a few days when your body gets used to it xx

I had bad headaches and went for an Indian head massage it really seemed to help me.I would definitely take some paracetamol. Hope they ease for you soon xx

I've taken some now and they have started to kick in. I love Indian head massages that sounds like a great idea. I go to a lady for reflexology and she does them so will book in for one soon. xx

Paracetamol absolutely fine, get some of them inside you and keep you water intake up.

Are you having anything like acupuncture or reflexology?..might be worth looking into,

I know what you mean about wanting to hold off. You should be fine with some paracetamol, lots of water and rest.

Once you start the stims, things will settle down with your headaches.

Yes I am having reflexology my next appointment is tuesday so will mention the headaches when I go. I had some paracetamol and they really helped. Thank you. xx
