Did the test this morning and it was negative, absolutely gutted and feel quite numb. I've spoken to the clinic and I need to stop all treatment and wait for af to arrive. we'll get a review with the consultant and embryologist, not sure I really want to but it might help. We have one frozen embryo so have one chance left on the NHS. I don't think I've ever seen my DH so upset, I thought we were more prepared but I guess you never really know how these things will affect you.
Good luck to all those still waiting xx

Hi Nemobaby. So sorry to hear this and no words to offer you really, except you will have loads of us to support you through this awful time. On a practical note, I do have a list of questions you might like to go through before you do have that follow up appointment with your specialist/embryologist. There just may be 1 or 2 you hadn't thought of asking. If you email me in confidence at support@fertilitynetworkuk.org I will send it to you. Thinking of you. Diane
My heart goes out to you and I know exactly how you feel.I used Dianas helpful questions at my review and added a few more. Take time and look after each other xxxx
its heart breaking, and so unfair, i was the same you never get prepared for it all.
im so sorry it wasnt good news, but the good thing is that you have that little frozen embie sat waiting for you, and i think FET are better for you as your body hasnt had to go through the trauma of EC etc. i unfortunately dont have any frozen so we have to start again and pay which i just think is so unfair.
take care and look after your self lovely and take as much time as you need to grieve. xxxx
So sorry to hear this Nemobaby, they're so hard to deal with and like you say you think you're being realistic and preparing yourself but then the grief & disappointment can be crushing. Take one day at a time, do something nice together as a couple (something me & my hubby have done after every cycle) and I wish you well for your FET xx
So sorry to hear this π the review after is quite helpful and following our review they have now updated my stims for my second round.
My DH was more upset than me at the actual moment too. He then got better as it hit me. I went straight into work after testing (silly idea) and managed to keep it together all day until I got home. DH had the day off which was much more sensible.
Lots of luck to you for the future and great that you still have one frozen on the NHS. Xx
BFN always hit like a ton of bricks and seem so unfair after every you have been through. Look after yourself xxx
Thank you to everyone for your kind words and support, it's been really helpful today. DH and I are going to take some time out to pull ourselves back together then get back to it, fingers crossed for our little frostie.
Good luck to everyone on their cycles, wishing you all the best xx
I'm so sorry for you. It is hard and especially when you don't hope anything more than bfp in this point. I hope you and your DH can support each other through this. Wishing you all the best xx
π’ thinking of you both at this time, its always harder than you think it will be to let go of something you thought was sooo close. Take care and look after each other. Xx
