Anyone else starting Buserelin injections tomorrow?? 💉💉

Hi just wondering if anyone else is starting their Buserelin injections tomorrow? I'm excited/nervous about that 1st injection, I've chosen to have mine at 11pm after I finish work so that I can just go to bed, what time have you chosen to start yours and how are you feeling about the process? We are so happy to be at this stage, 16 months from NHS referral has dragged over but finally here!! Wishing you all lots hope, strength & baby dust on your journey xx ✨🙏🏻✨

The wife started 10 days ago ( was doing them for her). We do them st 10pm, so straight after that she'll go to sleep. At crest it was a tad painful ( just a tad), but it gets better. The method is quite different from the injections we started with. We use a pink end needle for draining out the Salutions, (which had to be tipped upside down) then switch over to an yellow one ( which is alot smaller ), that's the one we use to give the injection.

What dosage are you on? We started on 0.5 but it got reduced to 0.2 after a few days. This morning, she had to take a few tablets aswell. So she'll be taking them and having injection till scan next week.

Hi sanj69 it's good to hear from you, I'm doing 0.5 till 27th Jan then will go down to 0.2 while taking menopur & antibiotics, not been shown how to mix the menopur yet, will do nearer the time. Oooh it's all exciting, all the best to you and your wife too x

I'm feeling tired already after one injection lol. We're doing a fet this time. I have 30 shots to take, one daily. I didn't take Buserelin on my fresh round. I hear this one's a bruiser so I was quite anxious tonight. It did sting but it was doable and over quickly. I'm sure I'll get used to it lol x

I started mine on the 27/12 I do mine at 7pm so if any side affects then I sleep through them the only things I've suffered with is hot flushes, tiredness and now I've started the gonal f as well I'm finding myself snapping a little!

Had my scan last week to make sure all was ok to start the gonal f, so just hope my little follicles are growing,

Hey I've just done my first buserelin injection at 8am today with my gonal F, due to have another gonal f tonight & 1st day is done. Injection went well, I iced the area a little and felt nothing!xx

Hi. I started mines on 2nd Jan. The injecting isn't that bad at all. It does get easier. The only thing is I'm having hot flushes.

Hi, I'm on day 5 of injections. Injections are fine but the headaches and tiredness the time around is awful. Hope everything goes well for you xx
