Hi, I will be starting my my ivf treatment in December. Wanted to ask anyone who's already been through it if you gain any weight with the medicines or not.

Everyone is different! I did put on a little bit of weight, around 2kg. Mostly just before the egg collection...there is some serious bloating involved! Good luck with your treatment xx

I also put on about 2-3kgs and it all seemed to go to my hips and tummy. All the best with your treatment.

I gained some weight during the IVF process. I think it's less to do with medicine than the stress and the fact that once the embryo transfer is made you have to cut out any exercise. Also having so many extra appointments to go to takes time out of your normal routine and I found that this ate up time where I might have otherwise have spent going to the gym! I imagine if you are a type A personality you might be sufficiently strict to monitor yourself so you don't put on weight, but I found this very difficult.

I was bloated during treatment but once medication finished it soon settled down and went back to normal x

I put on a few pounds. mainly due to the bloating but more the fact I cut out all high intensity training in the gym. try not to worry about it as it's all worth it if it works. Fingers crossed for you and good luck. xx

Bloating too a couple of weeks to go. I guess I may have put on some weight due to comfort eating during this whole horrible process. x

I did put on weight, can tell by my clothes. I'm struggling to get it off as now I'm pregnant and so tired all the time. It all went to my belly as well but it's well worth it. I'll worry bout it later.

No, I didn't gain weight during treatment. Didn't feel bloated after egg retrivel either. I was lucky that it ended in pregnancy and haven't had many pregnancy symptoms either (now at nearly 33 weeks). Everybody is different and I think the limits for what's normal vary a lot. Good luck!
