Day 2 blood test

Hi all im waiting to have my day 2 blood test but not sure as ive started spotting and havent got a flow yet. When is the right time to go to have my test done? Do i wait for a few days 💁🏻

Hi Naz82, I'm waiting for my period too, so close to your timeframe. My nurse said if the first day is just spotting count the next day as your first then scan the day after. If you are at all unsure then call your clinic for advise as you will need to do your first injection at the right time.

are your periods normally like this?

Hi londondrc, im thinking to go get test done tomorrow. My periods start off like this and sometimes i have them very light. Also my gp told me to get second blood test done day 24 of cycle and I thought its day 21 usually

Hi Naz82. Day 2 as it says, although you can go to Day 3 if not in full flow. Day 24 should be Day 21 unless you have a particularly long menstrual cycle. Good luck with the results.. FSH should be between 2 and 10 and Day 21 should be more than 30. Diane

Hi Diane i had my blood test today. My day 24 bloodtest falls on 20th October and i have my first clinic appointment on the following day. Bit stuck as it takes few days for results so no idea what to do. Also flying out on 25th Oct abroad
