Heartbeat at 6 weeks 3 day ❤️

Today we went back to the hospital for a scan and got the amazing news that our baby's heart is beating strong and proud! We are so happy! I have a video but I'm unable to post it which is a shame. I just wanted to let all you ladies know not to give up! After having critical OHSS and then twisted ovaries, 6 weeks off work, 16 years of trying and to hear the heartbeat on our first round just goes to show that it can and will happen 😘 we got so demoralised over the years, it's been a long road but it has been worth it! Such good news for us to see the heart beating at this stage as I've read some couples don't see it until later on. Good luck to everyone ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hi! Thank you, it was amazing, we took a video and we were both crying lol (he won't admit it but he was!)

Good luck for next week! Remember it's still early and some women don't hear the heartbeat this early so prepare yourselfs to nit hear a heartbeat (that's what we did) because you don't want to be hoping for a heartbeat and not get one. It's been the most nerve wracking part so far; trying not to get excited and telling ourselves that we might not hear one.

Hi Daisy, next step for us is a scan this Friday again (to check my ovaries due to the OHSS) but they will check the baby too then after that we have to wait until the 12 week scan like any normal pregnancy!

I am 5 weeks 6 days buy nxt scans not till nearly 2 weeks time..but am stressing as they did a transvaginal scan yesterday seen the sac and drs said it was all how it should be for this stage but last nite a started 2 bleed dark red blood its easing off now but its like scan caused me to bleed xx

Hi, that exact thing happened to me! As long as it's brown and not red my doctor said its nothing to worry about, he also said that with IVF pregnancies some women have brown spotting throughout! That shocked me but I've got it non my head, as long as it's not red I'll be fine, so don't worry too much babe. If you are genuinely panicking there is no harm in calling your doctor to check to ease your mind. I wonder why they are scanning you so much later, but then again I have learnt everyone's experience and journey is different so they wouldn't plan it for you if it's wasn't right for you!

Sorry if this is TMI but I found that there was more spotting after we had sex than there was before, this is also normal apparently...

Hi suzanne my bleeding was deep dark red which i think is old blood,but not sure 100%, its pretty much stopped now..ive been calling my nurse since 8am this morning left message after message with no reply Grr...they scanned me yesterday as i had a dark red bleed on saturday the same as the 1 yesterday after scan but dr didnt say what was causing it but said the spotting ive been having since my BFP was a breakthrough bleed but nothing about the dark red bleed..other then if it happens again keep them informed and as for sex we havent even tried because of the spotting bad i no but me and DH dont want to take any chances as we feel that may make bleeding worse..thank u for ur advise x x

I hope it all goes well for you, just keep thinking about that scan, they said all was fine and the baby has attached and looking well, focus on that and call hospital again If your worried
