London acupuncturist

Hi there! I'm looking for an acupuncturist in north-west or central London who specialises in fertility. Anyone have any recommendations? Thanks xx

Hi! My aunty recommended a place in harley street they are called the accupunture clinic. The doctors name is DR Bich Nguyen. I couldn't go here as it was too far to travel after work etc. But I think they charge 80 pounds per session! I found one more local and she charges 50 per session. Good luck! X

I would recommend looking at the British acupuncture council you can type in your postcode and it will give you a list of credited people in your area, once I had my list I rang a few places to find out prices I went for a guy called lior levy hes based in St John's Wood and he was the only person I spoke to who gave me his time and explained what he did, he does acupuncture but also combines this with other holistic treatment and practices in Chinese medicine, when for my first session a couple of weeks ago and it was a bit of a therapy session which I needed at the time as was very emotional as had doctor confirmed earlier in the week that I had low egg reserve with 10% chance of conceving I had a terrible knot in my stomach at the time so we chatted for an hr and then he gave me a message to help release the stress and tention I'm going again in a couple of weeks where we will start acupuncture and concertrate on the fertility side, I had a two hr session which cost £70 most places quoted £60 -£80 per hr for north/central London. For me I felt it was beneficial as relieved my stress I'm trying to do online yoga in the morning for 15 mins which is great for calming yourself. Firstly, sorry to hear you've had a difficult time - this fertility business can be so stressful can't it. I really hope the acupuncture and yoga have been helping. On my part I've been diagnosed with 'unexplained fertility'. Nothing has come up on tests but there's obviously something going on as it's been years. I have my specialist appointment in August so am trying to get healthy and in a better mindset so that I'm ready for whatever treatment follows. Have also been incredibly stressed and need to try to get it under control as I'm sure it's not helping...Will let you know how I get on with acupuncturists. Take care xx

It is incredibly stressful and for me these things really helped calm me down, my acupuncture guy told me that we can't control our futures and you need to live in the presence concentrate on the here and now because other wise you live your life in the constant cycle of feeling stressed about up coming tests and treatments we can't control. I know all of this is easier said then done but at least by doing these things along with healthy diet and exercise you know that your preparing your body for best chance. I hope you manage to get some answers it must be driving you mad and I'm sure the not knowing is a bit part of the stress xx
