Hey Hannakallas, my acupuncturist suggested I go to her 5 days after transfer. I asked her how my pulse was in general at that session, she said as it is as it should be! She also then said it is unethical for her to say anything else. I was so torn on what that meant. I got a BFP and texted her to ask her what she felt, she said she can't say whether I was pregnant but that the pulse for the foetus was strong. I think it is hard to tell as drugs can also skew the pulse, it's so hard to know until OTD. I would take it as positive indications. I am now having weekly acupuncture sessions to keep everything strong. Good luck xx
Hey, thanks for your response. Yes, she said my pulse is very strong which is a positive thing.. then in the end she said "take my number down.." In my head I thought why as I could just phone the practice directly if needed.. but I am very much hoping I will have a success story like yours xx
I didn’t know it at that time as she was very professional and discreet and I had no idea then what strong pulse could have meant. But when I called with the news she explained.
Hello lovely, I don't want to be negative at all but on 3 of my FETs I've had acupuncture afterwards and she's said the same thing - in fact on one she was just smiling to herself after taking my pulse. Unfortunately all 3 were BFNs - so I don't want you to lose hope but also know that it can easily be the drugs that is strengthening your pulse. Fingers crossed that it is your embryo though! xx
Thanks for bringing me back down to earth :D! I am usually very realistic and tend not to get my hopes up and always prepare for the worst. So close to the OTD and I deffo got carried away
Aww it's completely understandable!! And it's great to be positive - I've just been through a few and know that for me I need to be on a level otherwise I start planning the baby's room etc. There's no reason that this won't be the one for you! xx
