Need a rant.

I should be feeling like the happiest person but I can't. 19 weeks pregnant all seems to be going ok wonderful supporting husband and friends. But my work has totally screwed me over. Basically not hiring me in a manager position because I'm pregnant and my area manager hates me. Not only that the person they have hired was frankly a total bitch to me during my first round of IVF. Doesn't look like I'll be able to prove its because of the pregnancy that I didn't get hired though. Just feel stressed and down can't stop the tears.

Hi LHow81. Rant away! It's never easy coping with treatment and pregnancy at work. You may not have got the manager's position, but look what you've achieved instead! Not too long until you are rid of them all for a while. Just you look after you and your pregnancy - that's all that really matters. Thinking of you. Diane

A good rant usually helps.

It always sucks when you don't get the job you wanted and whilst it is unfair (you'd never get them to admit it was because you're pregnant) concentrate on looking after you and your baby. It seems to me that internal jobs are always decided before the interviews (been there didn't get it).

Continue to do your job, book medical apppintments that suit you and then give them a cheery wave as you go off on maternity leave. It would be a big laugh if the person who got it fell pregnant!

Aw LHow that is pants. There are other words for it but I don't think I can use them on here!! 🙊 You're right there is no way you can prove it but you're probably right and it's completely wrong but as Diane said you'll soon be shot of them all for a while and when you get back you won't have the added pressures of the promotion.
