Weird discharge after Embryo Transfer?

Sorry if this is too much info people, but I had my embryo transfer on Monday and I since yesterday have had some yellowy discharge. Almost (sorry for this, no other comparison) like snot? I've heard that women taking the pessaries get this but I'm not? I'm on two tablets a day and an injection in my bum a day. Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

  • I am not at that stage yet but I would phone your clinic nurses. My clinic always say not to worry about anything to just phone xx

  • Thanks Lucy :) my husband rang them, they said as long as it doesn't have an odor and I don't have pain when passing urine it's normal xxx

  • KittyK the snot discription made me laugh! However i've not had the 'snot' so cannot help you. Sorry, hope others can help you out x

  • Lmao I have such a way with words xD it made my husband laugh too. He said 'fanny snot ' lol charming. Clinic said as long as it doesn't have an odor and I don't have pain when passing urine it's normal. Back to the 2ww now xx

  • I'd call the clinic if I were you. If it smells strongly, it could be an infection so it's best to get checked out.

  • Thank you! Husband called the clinic for me and they said as long as it doesn't have an odor and I don't have pain when passing urine it's normal xxx

  • Hi KittyK. I agree with the clinic and also think it may just be a normal hormonal reaction to the progesterone, even though you're not having it vaginally. Hope all works out OK for you both. Diane

  • Hi KittyK I've never experienced it but when TTC naturally I came across that description quite a few times by women who went on to have a BFP so my fingers are crossed for you. The other thing is my pessaries had an almost yellow coating so discharge never looked normal but never like snot. My fingers & toes are crossed for you x

  • Awww really? I hope that's true for me too then. Thank you!! Xxx
