5 weeks advice please!

Hi, I am 5 weeks today and have been experiencing a tingling tongue and lips for about 20 mins. 'Dr Google' suggested it could be low blood sugar which can be caused by low progesterone. Can anyone offer any advice?

Also meant to add that I feel drained and really lacking energy!

Thank you for getting back in touch. I spoke to my clinic who suggested I see how I feel. It fortunately hasn't happened again so far and I for better or worse I have been feeling a lot better over the last few days.

Well I confirm the feeling drained is a given but the other stuff I can't. Perhaps you need to forget Google and speak with doctors as you may need prosteogne supplements and the baby too....

Are you on any medication? I had these symptoms recently for about a week (I'm about to start cycle 2) and am on metformin. I'm told it is low blood sugar and to lower the dose of metformin that I'm on as I felt really "spacey" if that makes sense. I would speak to your clinic or GP as it's not worth risking... it might just be a good excuse to have to eat some cake 😉 xx

Thank you. I was on metformin as part of the pre egg collection protocol so there is a possibility it was that. It hasn't happened again but could also be linked to a decline in symptoms so just trying to take one day at a time.
