Had my collection this morning and got 24 eggs collected feeling excited! Has anyone had a similar amount and if so how many fertilised? Hope everyone is having a sunny day X X

I had 17 eggs and 15 fertilised. Unfortunately it did not work for me but fingers crossed for you xx

I got 2 frozen and have tried one which didn't work. Now one left but I'm not sure if I can face trying again...

I have my EC tomorrow, what can I expect as I'm starting to worry! I've heard to have a hot water bottle on my tummy tonight? Have you heard this? X

Hi emjayne I use a hot water bottle a lot I find it really helps, my husband even made one up and put it in the car in case I wanted it on the way home. 

Let me know how you get on tomorrow, I am feeling a bit groggy but have all week off to recover X

Aaah so your able to use it afterwards too? I read that you shouldn't have anything hot on your tummy no hot baths etc, the Internet can be so dangerous giving such conflicting information all of the time! 

I hope you are feeling better soon and have plenty of rest, I've also got the week off work too xx

Hot water bottles or baths can't be used after transfer, I checked in hospital today because I wanted to make sure 😬 Good luck for tomorrow X

Yes no heat after transfer but I think after ec it helps your body heal quicker too, so get that hottie on!  No baths after ec though I was told for infection

Wow well done!!! I had 19 a 18 fertilised and 6 got to day 5, put one back in and froze two and im currently 7 weeks pregnant hopefully you should get a few frozen embryos too from all those

Hi I had 31 eggs collected 29 was mature and 26 fertilised.  We ended up with 11 blastocysts to freeze. I didn't have a fresh cycle due to high risk ohss (I didn't get it though) I got pregnant on my second natural fet and have 9 weeks till he's due. Good luck xx

So I got a call today 16 fertilised!!!! Over the moon last time we had 5 fertilised and three made it to day 5. They are going to put two embryos in on Sunday sooooo excited X X X

Wow congratulations! All the best for transfer!! How did you find the procedure? I'm having mine e/c either Tuesday or Weds and feeling very nervous about the procedure.  Was u awake??

no your sedated so can't hear anything but don't have the longer recovery of General anesthetic, I was excited to find out how many eggs we had. Definitely rest and hot water bottles after you will be fine X X X
