Hi Littledee
I am in Glasgow and interested in this too. I have tickets for the open night in November, is it worth going to? X
Yeah I really was impressed tonight from the doctor, nurse to embryologist taken the time to talk things through with who ever wanting to talk I just had a failed cycle of icsi at Aberdeen clinics and was paying private that was £5000 down the pan with nothing I want to pay a fix sum with a baby hopefully at the end of it if not a full refund. Are u funding ur treatment urself? Xx
I am wary of these deals tbh I guess it feels like insurance and trying to claim anything back is always tricky. I think you have to go with how you felt about the clinic as it is a different company that offers these deals not really the clinic that take responsibility for this however other clinics in the area don't offer access fertility options so if that is what attracts you then go for it😀xx
Going to read over things today and get all the information I need before making any decision but I just don't like the thought of wasting a other £5000 and nothing at the end of it but I know if i never tried then I would never have know. If I had thousands in the bank fair enough to just keep at it but I don't have that kind of cash to waste again that's why if this access to fertility does what it says it would be perfect for us. Hopefully I wish I don't get a refund and I do get pregnant that would be my dreams come true. Xx
I'm currently doing it, although each fresh cycle my drugs are £1500-2000 each time (£200-£300 frozen) plus they charge for a new consultation after every fresh cycle so just be aware of that x
That's still expensive just for drugs I thought a couple of a hundred pounds max will have to ask they questions. Thanks for ur reply and good luck on ur journey ❤️️xx
We have has 2 cycles at GCRM Glasgow so far, both negative. I wouldn't actually go anywhere else. All appointments can be done 1st thing in the morning so can be scheduled round work etc. The nurses (who you see most of during the treatments) are lovely. For the second cycle we have gone for the Access Fertility programme with refund which I am now glad of given the 2nd failed cycle. We have another 2 shots of it before we get a refund. Once you've had consultation and done all the tests etc there will be no further charges unless you add on items. We're heading for our 3rd cycle in November. Good luck x
Hi Lorraine, I got a good vibe off of all the staff from gcrm. Thanks for replying. And I will be keeping everything crossed for u that u get a BFP in November💗 I think that it's a bit a peace of mind and if it works great but u won't be out of pocket that was always in the back on my mind going through my first cycle. Xx
Oh this is really helpful.
We are just about to start looking at This clinic and using the multi cycle programme.
We need to use donor sperm though, I wonder would that push the price up?
Oh and do we need a ticket for the information evening, how strange, I would have just turned up x
Access fertility uk look online Hun there's also a phone number u can ring I called them this morning hand got a lot of information it's legit only thing u pay for is ur meds each cycle all other cost are in the package. Called the gcrm also this morning asked prices on meds they said it ranges from £700-£1500 for meds depending on ur height weight protocol u need. I never had I get a ticket I went on to gcrm website see there was an open night then called them to see if I could come along to the open night. After my failed cycle I am doing so much research and looking at all avenues. U go for ur consultation at grmc then they send ur medical notes to access fertility the medical team look over ur notes and see if u get accepted and with refund plan ur eligible for. I do hope that we are accepted for the 100% refund either way I do want to do my treatment at gcrm just got a really good vibe soon as I walked in the door. Xx
We looked at it last cycle. But because we were over 40 ,we had to pay full amount xx good luck 🤞🌈👣💋
Just now I am just looking at all avenues but I do have a good feeling about this clinic. I have family who live in Spain I seen from ur post u went to Spain for treatment can I ask where and which clinic? I have read a lot of good reviews from clinic overseas. Good luck on ur journey and I hope ur 2ww goes in quick and u get that BFP sending baby dust ur way. Xx
