Deep breath - here we go again.

So I'm picking up my drugs this week ready for cycle 2. No response at all last time to Gonal F so they're doubling the dose this time to 300. Trying to be positive but after such a huge failure last time with no eggs even to collect its hard. 

My AMH a year ago was 24 which was amazing for my age (40) and is why they gave me a low dose. Now its 15 which is normal but makes me think the 10-15% chance of success is as good as its gonna get. 

Just needed to vent things. I'm finding reading the posts on here really supportive as it feels like I'm the only one going through it all and I'm on the other side of the world away from friends and family.

Good luck with this round... a fresh start...I had my Gonal f increased each round, that's quite normal and I ended last round on 450, earlier rounds I had 9-11 follicles, but pushed to get 5, but they all fertilised...I fell pregnant, my problem is stopping miscarriage now. My drugs for my second cycle are arriving next week too although I don't start injecting til the 20th. Either way I wish you all the luck in the world this time. We too had a major disappointment last time so I know how you feel. Fingers and toes all crossed for you! X

Hope all goes well for you. Its weird how I'm jealous of people with kids, then people who are pregnant, and now just anyone who at least makes it to egg collection. x

This journey is such an isolating one as I don't think many of us actually know somebody in person who has gone through the same as us. That's why this forum is great, you are not alone and we support each other. Stay strong, every cycle they learn more about your body so you have a better chance. Take one day at a time and come and talk to us when you feel like you're going crazy! Lots of love xxx

Hi, just wanted to wish you all the best. My first cycle ended with four eggs collected none fertilised, and my second I went up to 300 on the Gonal F and I'm now 15 weeks pregnant. So trust in that dosage and all the best!

I'm due to collect my medication this week too for my first round. Start taking them on 12th May 😁 I'm 38 and my amh is 10, 4 miscarriages naturally, now no tubes due to hydrosalpinx, so ivf is my only way to go, so haven't got a clue what to expect! Good luck, fingers crossed for us all! x

Please let me know how you get on. I'm due to have my tubes removed in a few weeks as I have hydrosalpinx on both tubes. I'm nervous because I know it means il never conceive alone ever again and that's quite hard to think about but with out having this done I can't have IVF.  Wishing you all the luck in the world xxx
