All set for EC on Monday. Seems so fast this cycle after last time starting injections in Jan but not getting to transfer until July after various delays.
Don't have as many follicles this time but they're a better size so my consultant was smiling about quality not quantity.
Feeling pretty chilled this time around cos I think my expectations are less even though we got a BFP last time.

it is thankyou, I'm 20+2 and have my anomaly scan today! Its flying by. If I could have known this feeling back when I got my bfn I would have kept trying forever! So grateful our second round worked ❤ I found being a bit pessimistic helped! Got everything crossed for you xxx

Can you please tell me how were you dealing with those delays? I am on my egg stimulation right now and I am waiting to start taking injections, but I my cycle is yet to start, it has been 5 days since I made dipherelin injection and I am worried I have ruined everything..
so, it is not necessary to have a lot of follies? .. it'd be ok even if there will be just a few of them..??
It was really tough to be honest. IVF is bad enough but then to even struggle to get to egg collection. First cycle got cancelled cos didn't respond but to cut a long story short the clinic messed up and they refunded the cycle. I then knew I'd do a freeze all cos nearly over stimulated and progesterone was also too high. I had to push to get them to prescribe steroids to keep it down. Then the week before transfer my lining was too thin. I realise most things were delayed to increase my chances and I did get pregnant but sadly miscarried at 7 weeks. This time I expected delays so it's now seemed really fast.
More follicles the better cos not every one has an egg but that varies especially with age. Last time I had 20 follicles, 8 eggs, 4 fertilised and got 1 blastocyst.

overstimulated?? oh my god, it is fortunate that it wasn't ohss, how did you notice? or the drs were monitoring your stimulation? I wish mine did so too, although I have no risks of over stimulating or anything but I am really afraid, even though my manager was really quick to respond to my emails, it still didn’t feel like I was getting a proper consultation, but my menstruation has started and I am on the stimulation already, everything is going well, I am receiving the same response to meds as a lot of women which is great because I am so nervous that I might spoil everything.
I am really sorry for your m/c, everything that you have been through, it is not something that you can just throw away...
you know, with follicles, there are so many strange things, because for example my amh was a bit higher than expected like 10,1, but my us scan showed just a small amount of follies.. but they have taken me into the program. and I am really grateful

Sorry lovely, I've been away for the weekend. We are doing ok I think, we pushed back treatment by a month so I wouldn't be jabbing over Christmas as it would just be too stressful with our families so we're ready for the new year to start all over again.
