Think I'm starting period whilst on nasal spray

Hi, I'm on day 2 of suprecur nasal spray , and I feel like I'm going to come on . Got slightly brown discharge and slight blood when I wipe.

I have a back ache and really uncomfortable tummy too.

I thought the nasal spray was meant to stop my hormones ?

Am I meant to get a period whilst on this ?

Hi, I am starting IVF for first time myself so no expert by any means. Can I clarify have youtaken the contraceptive pill as part of your IVF treatment? I am taking the contraceptive pill at the mo and have been told the exact day to stop taking that and start using nasal spray. I was told to expect a bleed when I finish taking the contraceptive pill. Does that fit your situation? I'm on long protocol rather than short.

I didn't use the spray as was on short protocol but if in any doubt call your clinic to put your mind at rest X

Hi. I was on nasal spray like you and did get my period. They had it planned on my schedule according to LMP and if I didn't get it I was to contact them, and go for blood test. They don't want your hormone level to be too high so that the reason for getting period. Good luck but ring your clinic if worried about it xx
