I'm due to start downregging tomorrow and have been prescribed the suprefact nasal spray which I need to instil into each nostril 4 times a day. The guidance the clinic gave me was 7am 11am 7pm and 11pm. They said that I can adjust the times to my lifestyle, but I now realise they didn't explain what is the maximum gap I can leave between doses. For example, can I have the spray at 12noon 4pm 8pm and 12midnight? This would mean that I'll have a 12 hours space between the last sniff and the one on the following day. Or should the biggest gap be 8 hours as per their guidance?
I can't call them now as they've closed, but am hoping to get some useful info here.
Thanks in advance.

Hi DianeArnold. Thanks for the advice. Today was my first day of the buserelin spray and I've been taking it at 8am 12pm 8pm and 12am.
Since I'm not used to sprays, is there a way to tell I'm doing it correctly?
I shut one nostril, put the plastic tip in the other side, spray and sniff. In the morning I had just a little bitter taste in the back of my throat but I didn't get any taste the other three times. Nothing came down my nose so I'm assuming it must have gotten in, but I wish there was way to tell 100%. As I'm using a new bottle, I cannot tell how much I've used either as it still looks full.

Hi dubs. Sounds like you've done it ok. The spray is absorbed by the mucous membrane in your nose lining extremely quickly. Most ladies worry about the amount etc used, but try not to worry you will be fine, oh and your administration times will do nicely. Good luck! Diane

Every 4 hours then two at night was all I was told so usually do that at 9ish and then my next us 7am. Others been told differently? Am worried now am doing wrong and it not going to work.
