Just back from my day 22 scan and it seems I may have ovulated from Monday, my eggs are now 4mm and on day 18 they were 9mm. I have been told to take 75 Gonal F as I was on 50. Feeling slightly confused and a bit annoyed. I thought I was making progress but feel like I am back to day 1. Has this happened to anyone else?

I haven't experienced this, but can appreciate how you must be feeling.

If they think you have ovulated, then are they talking about cancelling this cycle?

Don't bottle it all up..I'd ring with a list of questions, otherwise you'll drive yourself crazy...x

Hi thanks for replying :) no I have been told to just continue as normal but they have put my dose up to 75ml, I had a million questions when they told me but I couldn't get them out, I wish they would explain things as they occur, I am due to go back on Monday so I will hopefully get my questions onto paper to bring with me. Feel like I am going to explode :-( x

I'd be tempted to call today and say that you are stressing and hope that they can put your mind at ease so that you can relax over the weekend...the worst they can say is they are too busy..i'd be very surprised and angry if they turn round and say that...

That is probably what I should do but I just don't have the strength today, I am so gutted, was hoping to get my trigger shot so I think I would be better leaving it till Monday :-) who's knows with some luck a miracle might happen and they could even grow by then :D

You just have to do what is right for you emotionally.

Maybe try a hot water bottle on your belly tonight (not directly on the skin)..it's meant to help keep things progressing x

Yes I have seen a lot of people saying they do that, I think I will go treat myself to a nice new 1 (will maybe cheer me up) 😊 thanks for your advise x

Hi Rach_87. Just wondered whether you would like me to send you my list of questions to have a look through before you go back to clinic on Monday. There may be one or two you hadn't thought of asking. My emails are confidential, so if you do, then email me at dianearnold@infertilitynetworkuk.com and I will get them to you. Diane
