Confused?!?

I had a mc back in March, at the end of April/ beginning of May I had a very light period/ spotting. My app said I ovulated from the 9th June - 14th June. I didn't even realise I ovulated because to be honest, I completely disregarded my very light period at the end of April.

Anyway, on last Monday I had my first proper heavy period since the mc and finished on Monday just gone. Tuesday and Wednesday I was absolutely fine, soreness of my boobs went and I felt fine. However yesterday my boobs really hurt and felt like I could have another period again. I spotted a little and for some reason (unknown to me) I did a pregnancy test when I was home ... which was positive!!!

I am confused because I don't want to get my hopes up and think I'm pregnant, when there's a slight part of me that thinks maybe I still had the pregnancy hormone in my blood which is why it's showing as positive.

Has anyone had this before??? Thanks!!

Hey,

I can't offer much advice, sorry. I would imagine though if your miscarriage was end of April beginning of May then the hormones should be out your system?

If you ovulated between 9-14 June and did conceive then that would make you 2-3 weeks pregnant also.

It's maybe worth calling your GP? It seems to me your pregnant again but with having the bleed and things it might be worth having things checked out? Xxx

Frankly, I have no idea what to suggest you. I believe that you will have a safe pregnancy and everything is going to be ok. I just can imagine how you felt having miscarriage, I feel for you. Honestly, I haven't faced this issue but my story is not much better. Due to my doc's mistake I've lost a chance to get pregnant naturally. It killed me, I felt down and lost.

Despite this all, I hope we all get what we want, and all ladies here will have a positive result

You should call you doctor and ask him about some tests in clinic.

Thank you ladies for your replies.. I think I may leave it for the weekend and will call my doctors on Monday or Tuesday. See if I can maybe get a blood test to see if anything comes up xx

Hi lau_har1. Confusing, but maybe you are pregnant? Perhaps see your GP and request a blood Beta hCG test to confirm one way or another. Hope all is soon clear for you. Diane
